The Munster Branch I.R.F.U. are currently seeking to recruit a media and communications person on a part time basis to promote the domestic game.

The Munster Branch I.R.F.U. are currently seeking to recruit a media and communications person on a part time basis to promote the domestic game.

The successful candidate will report to the Hon. Secretary and ultimately to the Chief Executive.

His/Her responsibilities will include:

Press Officer for Domestic Game in Munster

Deal with all day to day PR / Communications issues Provide articles on a regular basis for website, newspapers Promote and increase the profile of the domestic game Establish link with the affiliated clubs and schools

The successful candidate will have a journalistic background and have experience in a media relation s role. He/she will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and experience of sporting media environment would be advantageous. He/she needs to be able to work off their own initiative and be computer literate.
