Wilkinson Back For England

Johnny Wilkinson returns to the England side for the first time since landing the drop-goal that won them the 2003 World Cup after being named in the side for the RBS Six Nations Opener against Scotland in Twickenham on Saturday (4pm).

Wilkinson has only played 50 minutes rugby in the past twelve weeks but nevertheless has been paired with Harry Ellis for the the game against the Scots.

Former Great Britain rugby league captain, 31-year-old Andy Farrell, makes his Union debut with only seven Premiership starts under his belt since switching codes and Farrell’s former Wigan teammate Jason Robinson has been prised out of retirement to meet his country’s call.
