Eight Changes For Munster

Tomorrow Munster supporters are afforded the opportunity to bid farewell to one of the legends of the game when Anthony Foley leads the side out in the final Magners League game of the season at Musgrave Park.

Even though squad captain Paul O’Connell is named in the starting XV, Foley will wear the captain’s armband in his 71st Celtic/Magners League game.

In all this selection shows eight changes, one positional, from the side that started in Stradey Park last weekend, that positional change see Alan Quinlan switch from blind to openside flanker to accomodate the inclusion of Donnacha Ryan in the backrow. 

Munster: Denis Hurley; Anthony Horgan, Lifeimi Mafi, Rua Tipoki, Ian Dowling; Ronan O’Gara, Peter Stringer; Federico Pucciariello, Frank Sheahan, John Hayes; Mick O’Driscoll, Paul O’Connell;  Donnacha Ryan, Alan Quinlan, Anthony Foley capt. Replacements: Tony Buckley, Marcus Horan, Donncha O’Callaghan, Denis Leamy, David Wallace, Paul Warwick, Keith Earls.

Meanwhile the only change  coach Sean Lineen makes to the Glasgow Warriors team from last time out sees Andrew Henderson return to inside centre replacing fellow Scotland internationalist Graeme Morrison who moves to the bench.

Elsewhere in the back-line, Bernardo Stortoni completes a full-house having started every competitive game for the Warriors this season.
