Under 20s

Munster U20’s completed their third challenge match on Friday when they beat a very competitive UL Bohemians by 25 points to 7 points.


 
Munster U20’s got into an early lead with a Cormac O’Flynn penalty on 12 minutes and a Johnny MacCarthy try after 17 minutes which O’Flynn converted.
 
O’Flynn kicked another penalty on 20th minute and then picked up a yellow card on the 32nd minute and whilst the Munster 20’s were down to 14 players UL Bohemians struck back with a try which was converted leaving the half time score at 13 to 7 in favour of the Munster 20’s.
 
O’Flynn bounced back with a try on the 46th minute which he converted. Munster finished the strongest and Dean Landy scored a try on the stroke of full time leaving the final score at 25 to 7 in favour of Munster 20’s.
 
Munster have completed their 3 challenge games. The business part of the season starts next weekend with the Munster U20’s taking on the Connacht U20’s in the Sportsgrounds in Galway on Saturday the 12/09/09 at 17.00.
