Match Day Information – Munster v Leinster

Please find all relevant match day information here for Munster’s Magners League game against Leinster this Saturday, ko 7.30pm. Please note this game is sold out.

Magners League Round 19 – Munster v Leinster, Saturday 2nd April, ko 7.30pm

Gates open 2 hours before kick-off at 5.50pm. Please arrive early and allow sufficient travel time for your journey.

Tickets – There are no tickets on sale for this game.

Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – T12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket.

Thomond Park Season ticket book holders – Please note your ticket should be the Magners League Match 6 Pink ticket.

Travel

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel from 3.00pm
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Rd. from 4.30pm
City East Plaza from 6.00pm
Maldron Hotel from 6.00pm
Raheen Ryans Centra from 5.15pm

There is a public bus service in operation from outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry St. to Thomond Park starting at 5pm.

Road Closure – Limerick City Council advise that Merchants Quay in Limerick City will be closed to vehicle traffic and vehicle parking on Saturday, 2nd April, 2011 between 6.00am and 6.00pm.

Train Update – Please note there is no train service in operation from Limerick to Cork after the game due to engineering works that will be in place between Limerick Junction and Charleville.

Supporters can pre-book their parking online for Q-Park Harvey’s Quay at reduced parking charges. There are three options depending on how long you are in Limerick – all day parking €;8, afternoon parking for €;5, or evening/overnight for only €;3.   The service is available 7 days a week and customers can book online, and pay with Visa, Visa Debit or MasterCard at www.q-park.ie or www.thomondpark.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.

Pre-Match

On the pitch entertainment features Cara O’Sullivan, Daithi, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir and Arcana.

The Dug-Out bar is open from 5.30pm with live entertainment from “Mad for Road”. There are numerous bars and catering facilities in Thomond Park and all open at 5.30pm.

Remember to watch out for the Magners League Face in the Crowd – it could be you!

Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;4.

The Museum is open on match day from 5pm to 7pm with admission only €;3.

Stadium Information

Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
