The 2014 Munster Rugby Awards

Munster Rugby have teamed up with the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind for this year’s Munster Rugby Awards in association with The Irish Independent.

The awards take place at a lunchtime event on Thursday 8th May at Maryborough Hotel & Spa in Cork. The Irish Independent are the Event Sponsors for the second year running.

This annual event celebrates the best of rugby in the province, from the Domestic game right up to the main award of the day – Munster Rugby Senior Player of the Year. The awards recognise individual feats in the sport in Munster, as well as the achievements of clubs and schools both on and off the pitch. Eleven diverse categories will be honoured, ranging from Munster Player and Young Player of the Year through to up-and-coming Academy talent, women’s rugby, referees, schools and clubs.

• All guests will receive 2 match tickets for Munster Rugby’s pre-season game in Thomond Park in August (opposition and date TBC)
• There will also be a raffle of Munster Rugby prizes on the day with all proceeds going to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
