Match-Day Info For Waterford

We are looking forward to hitting the road tomorrow for Munster’s first home game of the season with the Waterford RSC ready for action and set to host the SEAT Challenge against London Irish at 7.30pm.

Tickets

The final remaining tickets are available to buy from the stadium in Waterford or online here. Avoid disappointment and make sure to get your tickets today as we are expecting a full house tomorrow night as we move closer to reaching the 5000 capacity.

Please note all tickets are for General Admission, with stand seating catering for just over 3000 people, and standing positions at ground level. Seating will be available on a first come first served basis.

Parking

Parking for supporters is available at Waterford Institute of Technology on the Cork Road. Please see map below.

Access Information

Gates will open at 6pm. There are two entrances to Waterford RSC – the Cork Road entrance has 4 turnstiles, and the Ring Road entrance has 2 turnstiles

Event Information

Catering: Inside the grounds, the Elm Tree Farm will be serving locally sourced food including burgers and steak burgers as well as teas and coffees. There will also be bar facilities on site provided by Revolution, located under the old stand in an adjacent marquee.

Half-time: We look forward to welcoming local hero Niamh Briggs, fresh from the Women’s World Cup in Paris. There will also be a display of girls rugby by players from a number of local clubs.

Oscar will be making the trip to Waterford, and will be on hand to meet Munster fans.

Match programmes will be on sale inside the grounds costing €;2.

Stadium Information

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations.

There will be event stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Weather in Waterford on Friday evening: cloudy with some possible showers.
