World Club 7s Draw Set For Thursday

The draw for this year’s Limerick World Club 7s will take place on Thursday morning at 11am. It has also been confirmed that Elite Player Development Officer Colm McMahon will again take charge of the Munster 7s side that will compete in Thomond Park on the 21st and 22nd of August.

McMahon, a former Sevens international and Munster player from 1999 to 2004, assumes the role of Head Coach at the Limerick World Club 7s for a second consecutive year.

Once again, twelve rugby teams from both the Northern and Southern hemisphere will take part in the two day event including reigning champions Daveta Fiji and the 2014 Twickenham 7s champions Buenos Aires.

The full line-up of teams and groupings will be revealed during Thursday morning’s draw which will take place in Dublin’s Herbert Park Hotel.
