Pre-Season To Commence With Grenoble

Munster commence pre-season action against French Top 14 outfit Grenoble at Thomond Park on Friday August 14th, KO 7pm. Come and enjoy the carnival atmosphere both on and off the field, and spectators are also invited to join the squad for a post-match BBQ in Thomond Park’s Fan Zone Plaza.
The game will see the return of former Munster player Mike Prendergast – who made 48 appearances for the province – to Thomond Park. Prior to becoming Backs Coach with Grenoble, the scrum-half guided Young Munster to promotion to Division 1A of the AIL in his first season as player/coach and also enjoyed both Munster Senior Cup and Limerick Charity Cup successes.
Joining the Munster-man on his return to Limerick will be former Leinster, Connacht and Ireland hooker Bernard Jackman who is the current Head Coach of Grenoble.
Pre & Post-Match Entertainment and Team BBQ
Fans are invited to enjoy all that Thomond Park’s Fan Zone Plaza has to offer both before and after the game with live entertainment, the Munster Experience Museum, the Guinness Dug Out Bar and wide selection of artisan food stalls. Plus, the Bank of Ireland Family Fun Zone will be open to keep younger fans entertained. See more here.
While after the game, all spectators are welcome to join the Munster players at a post-match BBQ in the Fan Zone Plaza where they will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for pictures and selfies.
