World Club 7s To Host Pre-Season Game

An already exciting weekend of rugby action at the Limerick World Club 7s has been further bolstered by the news that Connacht will now play their pre-season game against Munster at Thomond Park on the Friday night of the festival, August 21st at 7:45pm.
Across August 21st and 22nd twelve Sevens sides from around the world – including the four Irish provinces – will battle for honours in the Limerick World Club 7s while spectators on the Friday will also be treated to 15-a-side action when Connacht and Munster take to the field for an interprovincial pre-season clash.

Meanwhile, it was yesterday confirmed that Munster will commence their pre-season action against French Top 14 outfit Grenoble at Thomond Park on Friday August 14th, KO 7pm. Come and enjoy the carnival atmosphere both on and off the field, and spectators are also invited to join the Munster squad for a post-match BBQ in Thomond Park's Fan Zone Plaza.
