Vacancy:   Digital Content Producer

Munster Rugby are currently recruiting for a Digital Content Producer and editor with strong creative leadership to drive engaging communications for our supporters and stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for developing and enhancing the organisation's digital content, primarily enhancing the Munster Rugby video content. The required individual will be required to develop, implement, and maintain video and digital assets in support of Munster Rugby's communication and marketing objectives.

Please note this role will involve working unsociable hours including working some weekends. Mobility will be a key part of the role and there will be a requirement to travel regularly as required between any training grounds or places of operation of Munster Rugby, primarily Limerick and Cork.

While reporting to the Communications Manager this person will work closely with the Digital Content and Communications Executive, Corporate Ambassador and the Commercial department to assist in achieving the targets set out by the Commercial Board in the Business Plan.

This is a 2 year fixed term position and the successful candidate will have:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in video production, digital broadcasting, new media or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience operating video cameras and editing equipment.
  • One (1) year of experience in communications or social media role (may be concurrent with video experience listed above).
  • Extensive knowledge and use of Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Design or similar software editing tools.

Qualities

  • Good communication skills and written skills are a must as you will be required to liaise with numerous internal departments and external partners in delivering completed projects.
  • You must be able to work well under pressure as the role often requires a very fast turnaround of clips, from capturing the footage to editing and final publication.
