MRSC Set To Paint London Green

All Munster and Irish fans heading to Ireland versus Italy on Sunday are invited to join the MRSC London Branch at their World Cup events across London this weekend.

Friday 2nd October:

Join the MRSC London Branch in their Official Central London venue – The Temple Bar (1 Milford Lane, Aldwych, London, WC2R 3LL), to catch Munster vs Glasgow Warriors, KO 6pm with the RWC2015 game between New Zealand and Georgia live from 8pm.

How to get there?
Temple Bar is located five minutes’ walk from Temple Underground station which is on the Circle and District line. Direct trains are available to/from Richmond and it's one change to the Central line at Mile End for Stratford.

Turn left at the entrance and up the stairs. Then cross the road and walk straight up Arundel Street. Turn right at the lights and Temple Bar is on the south side of the road.

Frequent buses to Liverpool Street, Victoria, the West End and City are available on Routes 4 11 15 23 76 172 and 341 to the Royal Courts of Justice stop

Saturday October 3rd

Official Ireland v Italy Pre-Match Party London, The Brewery (52 Chiswell St, London, EC1Y 4SD)

The London Branch of the MRSC are delighted to announce that Peter Stringer (98 Irish caps), Shane Horgan (65 Irish Caps / 2 Lions Caps) and Stephen Ferris (35 Irish caps/ 2009 Lions Tourist) have been confirmed as the panelists for the Official Ireland v Italy RWC Pre-Match Party taking place in the Brewery in central London on Saturday October 3rd. MC for the night is RTE's Michael Corcoran. The key pool fixture between England and Australia will be shown on four massive projector screens, with Hermitage Green headlining the music on the night. The events see the official Irish Rugby Supporters Club and all four of the official provincial Supporters Clubs collaborate for the first time. Tickets available from: http://tiny.cc/GreenWCparties

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is situated in East London, near Stratford Underground, DLR and National Rail station, the Stratford International National Rail station, and the Stratford City Westfield shopping centre

Travel options from Airports (Day Travellers).
Heathrow: Take the London Underground Piccadilly line to Holborn and then interchange to the Central Line for a train to Stratford

Luton: Take the shuttlebus to Luton Airport Parkway station from the airport, then a train to St Pancras International and SouthEastern High Speed to Stratford International

Gatwick: Catch a Thameslink train to St Pancras International, and SouthEastern High Speed to Stratford International

Stansted: Catch the Stansted Express train from Stansted Airport to Tottenham Hale, and interchange for a Greater Anglia train to Stratford

Travel options from Central London to Stratford
The Central line operates from Ealing Broadway, Shepherd's Bush, Marble Arch, Oxford Circus and Liverpool Street to Stratford

The Jubilee line also operates direct from Waterloo, London Bridge, Canary Wharf and West Ham to Stratford

National Rail trains also operate between Liverpool Street and Stratford

At the moment there is no planned engineering works affecting any of the above this weekend.

MRSC/ Irish Rugby Fans Official Meeting Point

The official Irish fan match day meeting point will be The Print House Bar, 135 High Street, Stratford E15 2RB. This venue is around a 12 minute walk from the stadium

Pre-game a traditional Irish Sunday roast will be served and post-game will see a live Irish band and a famous ex-Irish international entertaining fans! A free drink voucher for the venue will be available exiting the Official Pre-Match Party the night before in the Brewery.
