George Murray joined Munster in June 2002 having previously been a Rugby Development Officer with Leinster, also winning AIL medals as aplayer with Greystones and Shannon.

He has coached at Shannon RFC, Bruff RFC, Richmond RFC and UL Bohs.

He has been Performance Analyst with Ireland U21s, Ireland A and worked with the IRFU High Performance department in 2009.

He joined the coaching team in 2022 as Technical Coach.
