Munster Squad For Friendly Against Connacht Announced

The Munster Squad that will play Connacht at the Sportsground in Galway this Friday (23/08) at 3pm has been announced.

The Munster Squad that will play Connacht at the Sportsground in Galway this Friday (23/08) at 3pm has been announced.

The Munster V Connacht game will consist of three 40 minute periods and will see every member of the Munster squad put in an appearance. This game is a great opportunity for both Alan Gaffney & Steph Nel to study their squads closely on the playing fields to identify their team strengths and weaknesses ahead of the opening Celtic League clashes next week.

Munster will begin chasing the Celtic League title on August 31st with a visit to Straddy Park to face Llanelli.

John Lacey; Mossie Lawlor, Conor Mahony, Jason Holland, Kevin O’Riordan; Jeremy Staunton, Dominic Malone; Padraig Brennan, John Fogarty, Warren O’Kelly; Mick Galwey, Donnacha O’Callaghan; Eddie Halvey, Colm McMahon, Jim Williams (Capt.)

Replacements – James Blaney, james Cullinane, Trevor Hogan, David Bowles, Mike Prendergast, Killian Keane, Tommy Cregan.
