Munster Womens Team To Face Connacht

The Munster Womens team for Round 2 of the IWRFU Interprovincial Championship match against Connacht at the Sporst ground, Galway on Saturday August 31st at 3.45 has been announced.

The Munster Womens team for Round 2 of the IWRFU Interprovincial Championship match against Connacht at the Sporst ground, Galway on Saturday August 31st at 3.45 has been announced. With Olivia Brown, Karen McCarthy and Deirdre Scannell all unavailable, the team is otherwise unchanged from that which began the campaign two weeks ago in such convincing style against Ulster in Nenagh The strenght in depth now in Munster womens rugby is evident when you consider that Brown and McCarthy’s replacements are both current Internationals. Edel Coen takes over for Brown at tight head and Lynn Cantwell finally makes her Munster debut on the wing after playing in the World Cup in May. Promising Laura Guest from Clonakilty moves up to the bench.
