Munster’s plans for an early departure to Italy were thwarted by fog at Cork airport that caused a long delay for the 100 strong player and supporter party.
The Limerick contingent were scheduled to leave Shannon at 9.30 am this morning but fog at Cork Airport, where they were scheduled to land to pick up their Cork based colleagues, forced a time costly plan change. In the end the Cork players were forced to hire a coach to take them to Shannon where they expected at around 3.30 pm approx. The squad then faced a three hour flight to Parma.
