Following their semi final victories at the weekend Shannon and UL-Bohemians will keep the Munster flag flying among the AIL title holders as they contest this years AIL final set to occur in April.

The sides who met in last years final also, disposed of Cooke and Highfield in Limerick on Sunday. UL-Bohemians overcame Highfield at Annacotty 24-0. Tries from Claire O Leary, Sarah-Jane Belton, Louise Beamish and Fiona Coughlan, and two Belton conversions did the damage to Highfield as an all round impressive young Bohs side stormed their way into a second successive final.
Shannon defeated a tough Cooke outfit at Coonagh 23-0. Winger Frances Cross scored after two minutes as the home side signalled their immediate intent. Cross grabbed a second and Anne-Marie McAllister (try), Amanda Greensmith (try) and Katherine Murphy (pen) finished the scoring.
A Six Nations campaign and an All Ireland Cup Competition will precede this years final which is set for the weekend of April 12th, the same weekend Munster will travel to face Leicester in their Heineken Cup quarter final.
