The Ireland U21 team and management have regretfully announced that Fiach O Loughlin (Shannon) and Peter O Brien (UCC) have been withdrawn from the U21 World Cup as a result of injury.

The Ireland U21 team and management have regretfully announced that Fiach O Loughlin (Shannon) and Peter O Brien (UCC) have been withdrawn from the U21 World Cup as a result of injury.

O Louglin is replaced by Daragh Geraghty (UCD) and O Brien is replaced by Denis Fogarty (Cork Constitution).

The Ireland U21 team to play Japan U21 in the U21 IRB World Cup on Wednesday, June 25th 2003 at Newbury at 17.00hrs is as follows:

Confirmed dates, venues and times for pre World Cup warm up internationals are:- August 16: Ireland V. Wales, Lansdowne Road (kick off 2.45) August 30: Ireland V. Italy, Thomond Park, Limerick (kick off 3.0) September 6: Scotland V. Ireland, Murrayfield (kick off 1.30).
