The Munster Junior side begin their defence of their Junior Inter Provincial title, that they have won for the last two seasons, with a difficult tie away to Leinster at the North Kildare RFC venue.

Only seven of the side that played in their final game last season against Connacht are retained. The selectors have left a vacancy in the second row and will wait until shortly before the kick off , before making an announcement.
