Munster bound Christian Cullen received a standing ovation when he departed the field at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.
Munster bound Christian Cullen received a standing ovation when he departed the field at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.
It was Cullen’s final game in the Wellington colours and he scored two tries in his side’s 41-29 defeat by Auckland in the NPC final.
With six minutes left in the match, Cullen left the field with a shoulder injury and the crowd stood and applauded him for a full minute.
It is not known yet when he will arrive to join up with the Munster squad.
