Clear leaders have emerged in all three divisions of the Heineken Munster Junior League after last weekend’s results.

Clear leaders have emerged in all three divisions of the Heineken Munster Junior League after last weekend’s results.

Nenagh Ormond have opened up a four point gap at the top of the First Division after their 34-13 win at home to Youghal. Clonmel have moved into second place after their ten try rout of St. Mary’s 61-7. Bruff with a game in hand had a deserved 30-11 win at Cobh.

In Division Two, Tralee are the new leaders after their 49-12 home win over Charleville. Cashel lost their unbeaten record 29-10 away to Skibbereen and the Thurles v Douglas tie did not go ahead, as there was no referee available to officiate at the game.

Mallow have moved to the top of the Third Division, after they defeated the leaders Kinsale 27-9. Fermoy’s 26-14 win over Newport sees them move into second place.

Cobh Pirates won the Dennehy Cup for the first time defeating holders Cork Constitution 13-12 in a closely fought final.
