Nenagh Ormond’s unbeaten run in the Junior League, going back to February 24th, when Highfield defeated them, ended at Bruff, when the current holder’s beat them 26-17 in a very exciting game.

Cobh Pirates maintained second place with a narrow 13-9 win over Bandon. Kilfeacle and Clanwilliam still remain unbeaten. Kilfeacle picked up a bonus point in their 27-17 win at home to Richmond and Clanwilliam defeated Old Christians 11-3 in Cork. Clonmel kept their hopes alive with a 28-10 home win over Youghal. A late try earned St. Mary’s a valuable bonus point to move off the bottom, despite losing at home to St. Senan’s 17-10. Four points now separates top six sides at the top of the table.

In the only game in Division Two, Thurles have joined Tralee at the top after their 25-10 home win over Douglas, but failed to get a bonus point.

Fermoy have joined Mallow at the top of Division Three, and Abbeyfeale are two points behind with a game in hand. Mallow travelled to Limerick and beat Presentation 20-10. Fermoy and Abbeyfeale picked up bonus points in their home wins against Killarney and Carrick-on-Suir. Dunmanway also collected a bonus point in their 22-0 home win over Kilrush. Both Newcastle West and Galbally moved into the top half, of the table as a result of their wins over Newport and Dungarvan.
