Munster Rugby Store Opens in Limerick

On Monday (December 1st), in Limerick, Munster Rugby opened its own city centre Sports shop. IRFU President and Limerickman, John Quilligan was on hand to perform the official opening.

IRFU President and Limerickman, John Quilligan was on hand to perform the official opening and he was joined by Munster squad members Jim Williams (capt). Anthony Foley, Paul O’Connell, Frank Sheehan, Peter Stringer, Ronan O’Gara, Jeremy Staunton and Christian Cullen.
The premises on Rutland St, originally called Rugby Plus will trade under the name of The Munster Rugby Store, and will carry a complete range of Munster branded sports and leisure wear as well as the normal range of sports goods.
With the purchase of this outlet Munster Rugby become the only club outside France to have their own high street shop.
The 1500 square foot shop will be managed by Denis Hurley who has over 10 years experience in the sports retail industry through his involvement with Club Tricot.
