Munster v Gloucester Ticket Distribution

In anticipation that the public allocation of tickets for the Munster v Gloucester game on Jan 17th will be over subscribed, Munster Rugby, will hold a draw for the right to purchase 1260 tickets.

Munster v Gloucester Ticket Information January 17th 2004, Thomond Park, Limerick.

Following distribution of tickets through standard channels, 1,260 tickets (630 pairs), will be available for sale to the general public. In order to make these tickets available in a fair and equitable manner Munster Rugby are inviting members of the public to apply in writing (on a postcard) for an option to purchase these tickets.

Details will also be available in Thursday’s edition of the Irish Examiner, Irish Independent and Limerick Leader. A draw will take place on January 5th at a Limerick location and successful applicants will be notified by telephone of their option to purchase 2 tickets. Distribution Details for Tickets are as follows: Clubs/Associations 4,600 Visiting Club 2,000 Supporters Club 2,600 Schools/Youth 610 Munster Squad/Committees 900 Commerical Activities 670 Tournament Organisers/Sponsors 660 Public Sales 1260

To enter please send a postcard to Ticket Draw, Munster Rugby, Thomond Park, Limerick, to arrive not later than Fri 2nd Jan 2004 stating the following:

Note: Incomplete entries will not qualify for the draw. The decision of Munster Rugby will be final. All entries will go into the draw. Tickets will have to be collected at Thomond or Musgrave. Tickets will be given to winning entrant on production of personal ID.

We regret to advise that because the Munster ticket allocation has been reduced by E.R.C. from 25% to 15% of ground capacity there will unfortunately be no tickets available for public sale for this fixture. The tickets allocated to Munster for this game have been taken up by our Clubs, Supporters Club, Committess, Squad and Sponsors.
