Eight Munster players have been named in the reduced squad of 22 from which the Ireland team to play France in the RBS Six Nations championship in Paris on February 14, will be chosen.

David Wallace, Rob Henderson, Anthony Horgan, John Kelly and Mike Mullins have all missed out on a place in the 22.

The players omitted from the 34 strong preliminary Six Nations squad have been released to return to their provinces for Celtic League duties as of noon today.
The team to play France will be announced on Tuesday next, February 10, at the Banqueting Leisure Centre, City West Hotel at 12.45 pm approx., following a training session at Naas RFC, which is open to the Media from 11.15 am. Management and selected players will be available for interview following the announcement of the team.
