Limerick rugby fans have a treat in store for them at Thomond park this evening when the Celtic League clash between Munster and Newport Gwent Dragons brings together a host of international stars.
Besides the current Ireland national squad members who will be on show – Marcus Horan, Frank Sheahan, David Wallace and John Kelly in a Munster side led by World Cup medal holder Jim Williams, there is also the opportunity for Limerick supporters to catch their first glimpse of legendary All Black Christian Cullen who will be wearing the red of Munster for the first time in Thomond Park.
Cullen and his Munster colleagues will be opposed by a Dragons side that includes two of the most famous Springbox in recent times, Percy Montgomery and Bobby Skinstad. Besides this array of talent the fixture is given an added spice by the fact that watching from the sidelines will be the newly appointed Welsh national coach Mike Ruddock.
