Dolphin having won the Second Division last season, will be back in that Division next season, after they lost their final home game to Blackrock 13-6. A win would have seen the Cork side retain their First Division status. They will be joined by St. Mary’s as the Dublin side were surprisingly beaten by Galwegians. Cork Constitution lost their final game 18-0 away to Lansdowne but still were assured of finishing in top spot Garryowen finished with a 15-14 home win over Co. Carlow.

Dublin University were crowned Second Division champions after their 34-3 win over Sunday’s Well. This means Third Division rugby for the Cork side next season. A great start at home by U.L. Bohemian against Old Belvedere was not enough to see them win promotion, as they ran out 24-7 winners and finished as runners up. U.C.C. moved up to third place after their 17-10 win away to Old Crescent. Young Munster’s lost at home to Bective Rangers 25-17 and Midleton edged out Thomond 10-9.

Highfield won the Third Division championship with a deserved 26-17 win at home to Corinthians. Clonakilty caused an upset in Belfast beating Queens University 12-3.

In the Round Robin after two series of games, Bruff are the only side with two victories after they defeated Seapoint 7-6 in Dublin. They must win their final game away to Coleraine next week to be sure of promotion to the AIL.

Charleville made club history by winning the Munster Junior Plate Final 7-0 in a thrilling contest at Musgrave Park, when they defeated Bandon.

Nenagh Ormond are through to the final of the Mansergh Cup, after their 13-5 home win over Clonmel.

Crosshaven will meet Skibbereen in the Cork County Cup Final after their 41-5 home win over Fermoy.

Dolphin won the Junior Two Cup for the fourteenth time, when they beat Muskerry 15-7 in the final.

Shandon are through to the Junior Three Cup Final after their surprising 12-10 win over Killorglin.

Carrigaline are through to the semi-final of the Tait Cup after they caused an upset when beating Clonakilty 14-0. Muskerry are also through to the last four after their 14-10 win over Castleisland.

Thurles reached the Evans Cup Final with a 13-11 win against Cashel.
