We Want this Heineken Cup badly very badly . So badly that it hurts. If a Fan feels like this imagine what the players feel like. We did it in Thomond to Stade lets do it again in Lansdowne Road.

I’s sitting here lads. Palms sweating at the prospect of a monstrous clash on Sunday with Might Wasps.
I look back to the monumental games we have played in Thomond Park against English opposition in the Heineken Cup. I am smiling at the sight of Munster tonking .. Bath . Wasps . Gloucester , Harlequins , Saracens at the famous old ground.
Well on Sunday it is up to us , every man , woman . child , cat. dog to turn another famous old stadium Lansdowne Road into Our home.
Lets get there early. Lets soak up the atmosphere and shout and roar until the old stadium becomes a living breathing extension of our very souls.
This is more than Just a game of rugby . This is Munster Rugby. I watched Baby DT last evening , run around the house , Munster Scarf draped over his shoulder singing Up Munster Up Munster Up Munster. This 2.5 year old has no idea of the magnitude of the game this Sunday yet he show such Blind Faith and Joy in chanting the name of our famed side.
I want to be able to come away from Lansdowne Road on Sunday and tell my son that on the 23rd May .Up Munster will be playing another huge game and will be coming home with winners medals.
I want us all here to be able to leave Lansdowne Road knowing that we were part of yet another magnificent day for munster rugby. Munster has it’s history. forget 78 and the All Blacks. Forget the Australia’s.
This weekend is about the here and now. It’s about us, It’s about munstermen and women everywhere stretching every single solitary sinew in their bodies in search of the common goal.
We Want this Heineken Cup badly very badly . So badly that it hurts. If a Fan feels like this imagine what the players feel like. We did it in Thomond to Stade lets do it again in Lansdowne Road. Remember . This is deep deeper than you and I will ever know. It’s a passion and pride that’s passed from generation to generation. A pride in our sport and players.
A Respect for the opposing side . A respect for goal kickers whether it be a kick to beat us or a token goal kick. Passed down from father to son, mother to daughter. This is what Munster Rugby is all about.
The best fans in the world. Lets turn it up a few notches from Thomond park and rock Lansdowne Road to its very foundations. Lets sing all the way through and not just when we are on top. It’s when we are not on TP we are needed most.
We need to let team know that we are out there and also let WASPS know that they are walking not into xv men but into an army…..
Allez Les Rouges .. March on Munster March on!.
