ERC Released the following statement:
An independent Disciplinary Committee will meet in Dublin on Wednesday, 10 November, 2004, to hear the citing complaint lodged by Munster against Neath-Swansea Ospreys wing Richard Mustoe and the citing complaint lodged by Neath-Swansea Ospreys against Munster prop Marcus Horan following the Heineken Cup Pool 4 Round 2 match played at The Gnoll on Sunday 31 October.
Professor Lorne Crerar, the Discipline Panel Chairman for ERC matches, has appointed Rod McKenzie (SRU) to chair the independent Disciplinary Committee.
The Citing Officer, Jon Davis, recommended that the citing complaints be referred to an independent Disciplinary Committee.
– against Richard Mustoe for an alleged stamp under IRB Law 10.4.b.
– against Marcus Horan for alleged comments made during the game to another player under IRB law 10.4.k.
The players are requested to attend the hearing.
