Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan will announce his first starting line up of the season ahead of the international against South Africa at Lansdowne Road on Saturday.
Going on the last international selection (v South Africa in the summer) and current form Munster can expect to have at least five in the starting line-up when the side is announced at lunchtime.
Meanwhile, John Kelly is rated doubtful for the Celtic League game against Gwent Dragons on Saturday after going over on an ankle while traning with the national squad yesterday (Monday). Nor is the news of Alan Quinlan any better. The flanker injured an ankle in the opening half of Munster’s game against Ulster on Saturday and his chances were rated as only 40/60 to be fit in time for Saturday’s clash.
