Michael Essex (UCC), Anthony Kavanagh (Garryowen), Ronan Loughney (U.L. Bohemians), Mark Melbourne (Garryowen), Robert Quinn (UCC) are among the 10 Munster players on the Ireland Under 21 squad.

Brian Cahill (Bruff), Denis Hurley (UCC), Barry Keeshan (Cork Constitution), Breffni O Donnell (U.L. Bohemians) and David O Leary (UCC) are the five backs included for competitive outings this season against French regional selections in Paris.

A squad of 41 players will be split into two selections and will play two games in Marcoussis, Paris at the CNR Honour Stadium on Saturday November 27th, with the first game kicking off at 12.00hrs, followed by the second at 13.30hrs.
