The Irish Under 18 team which will participate in the Four Nations Youth Tournament during Easter 2005 will for the first time draw players from the Schoolboy sector. Previously this team was only selected from players in the Club Age Grade Structure. Players must be under the age of 18 by January 1st 2005 to be eligible for selection.

The selection process in the other three countries (England, Scotland and Wales) has changed to include schoolboy players in the January age category. For this reason, players from the schoolboy sector will be involved in the selection process.

To facilitate the selection process for this tournament, training and games will take place on January 28th and 29th January 2004. Some changes to previously advised games/times are now in place to facilitate this process.

The following games will take place in Terenure College RFC, Lakelands Park on January 29th: Structured Games/practice for January Age Category: 11.00am. Irish Schools XV v Irish Under 19 XV: 13.00hrs.

The management group for this team are as follows: David Eakin Manager Fr. Joe Gough Assistant Manager Charlie McAleese Coach Terry Kingston – Assistant Coach
