Neath-Swansea Ospreys can extend their lead at the top of the Celtic League following the visit of Llanelli Scarlets to the Gnoll this afternoon. The Ospreys have already accounted for the Scarlets at Stradey Parkand the home side will start a short order to complete the double of over their 6th placed rivals.
And an Ospreys victory will give Connacht added incentive when they host second from top Munster at the Sportsground on Monday. Defeat for the Scarlets, and victory for Connacht would move Michael Bradley’s side up at least one place in the table.
The last time the sides met in The League it needed a late late Paul Burke to snatch a 27-27 draw and last season when Munster visited Dubarry Park there was just three points in it at the end of a match played in atrocious conditions.
