Munster coach Alan Gaffney makes five changes from the side that lost in Spain last weekend, for Sunday’s Celtic League encounter with The Borders in Galashiels.
While still fielding a strong side that includes five of the international forwards who featured in the Six Nations, Gaffney uses the oocasion to give an opportunity to relative newcomers, Paul Devlin, Frank Murphy and Stephen Keogh.
Scrum-half Peter Stringer finds himself on the bench with UCC captain Murphy set to partner Jason Holland who replaces the injured Paul Burke.
Paul Devlin a late second-half replacement for Mike Mullins retains his place in the backline while two changes up front see Jerry Flannery come into the front-row for Frank Sheahan (bench) while Stephen Keogh gets the nod over Alan Quinlan for the number 6 shirt.
