Because of a knock picked up last weekend playing with his club against Lansdowne, Manning was not listed in the squad released earlier this week, but his full recovery enables Alan Gaffney introduce another young player who is highly regarded.
Three weeks ago Conan Doyle made his debut as a replacement against The Borders and now it’s the turn of the 19 year old New Zealander who has kicked a club record 149 points in his 16 League outings this season. Manning is named on a youthful bench whose average age is 22.
Eugene McGovern (23) also comes onto the bench for the injured Gordon McIlwham.
