St. Senan’s RFC to Open New Grounds

St. Senan s RFC will be opening their new grounds at Tullyvarraga, Shannon, Co. Clare on Sunday 4th September, 2005.

St. Senan s RFC will be opening their new grounds at Tullyvarraga, Shannon, Co. Clare on Sunday 4th September, 2005.

The new grounds will be named The Jimmy Slattery Park in memory of a dear Friend, former President, Club member and great rugby stalwart, Mr. Jimmy Slattery.

In what promises to be a fun filled day for all the family proceedings will begin at 2.00 pm with an Ecumenical Blessing of the fields, the Official opening of the new grounds will then take place followed by 2 simultaneous Friendly games with both our Junior Teams competing against two invited teams.

A sumptuous BBQ, bar facilities and entertainment will be available on site in our marquee and for the younger rugby enthusiasts amongst us bouncing castles will be provided and light snacks available to replenish energy levels.
