Weekend Fixtures

The Three big games of the weekend scheduled for Thomond Park will all have to be switched after vandals cut up the pitch in Thomond Park.

The final games in the Interprovincial series between Munster and Leinster at Under 19 and 21 level have been switched as a result of the vandalism of the pitch at Thomond Park and the Charity Cup Final between Thomond and U.L. Bohemain scheduled for Saturday at the same venue has been postoned..

The Under 21 game will go ahead at Rosbrien with a 5.45 kick off and the Under 19 tie is scheduled for Dooradoyle with a 4.30 start.

The second round of the Transfield Cup will be played on Sunday with four quarter final ties down for decision.

Clanwilliam face arch rivals Kilfeacle in the semi-final of the Mansergh Cup with Thurles awaiting the winners in next week’s final.

Tralee and Castleisland meet in the McElligott Cup with the winners taking the trophy. On Saturday evening Castleisland play Corca Dhuibhne in the final of the Galwey-Foley Cup at Tralee and the Dennehy Cup kicks off with eight first round ties.
