Mick O’Driscoll and Jerry Flannery have been called into the national squad ahead of the final winter international against Romania next Saturday.
And the odds are that Flannery will win his first cap while O’Driscoll should gain his third international cap as partner to Donncha O’Callaghan against the Romanians.
In addition two players more recently associated with the national squad, Trevor Hogan and john Kelly, have also been called up to City West.
Hogan won his first cap last summer in Japan while Kelly missed out on that trip through injury.
