Women’s Interprovincial Final
22nd November 2005 By Munster Rugby
Munster and Leinster will battle it out this Saturday for the Women’s Senior Interprovincial title at Clontarf RFC
Munster and Leinster will battle it out this Saturday for the Women’s Senior Interprovincial title. Munster are the reigning champions and are bidding for their fourth consecutive title. However Leinster became the first team in four seasons to beat the current champions, when they travelled to Musgrave Park a few weeks ago and took all three points. The host team will be favourites now to claim their first ever Interprovincial title as they have looked very impressive in their round games. Scrum half Tania Rosser will be a key player to their hopes. Munster are still hurting from that loss though and they showed improvement in their final game against Connact at the weekend. They will be led by Irish centre Patrique Kelly.
