Stringer Set To Win His 100th Cap

Scrum-half Peter Stringer is set to win his 100th Munster cap in the Celtic League clash with Ulster at Musgrave Park (7.10) on Saturday.

Munster make eight changes, one positional from the side that defeated Cardiff a month ago, for the Celtic League clash with third placed Ulster at Musgrave Park (7.10) on Saturday.

Returning to the Munster fold are Anthony Foley, Denis Leamy, Donncha O’Callaghan, John Hayes, Peter Stringer, Ronan O’Gara and Anthony Horgan.

Horgan’s return means that Anthon Pitout who played on the left wing in the Arms Park, switches to the right for Saturday’s game.

Listed among the replacements for the first time this season is Mossy Lawlor who last February had a shoulder operation.

Munster: J Manning; A Pitout, G Connolly, T Halstead, A Horgan; RO’Gara, P Stringer; F Roche, J Flannery, J Hayes; D O’Callaghan, M O’Driscoll; D Leamy, D Wallace, A Foley capt

Replacements: M Horan, D Fogarty, T Hogan, S Keogh, T O’Leary, B Murphy, M Lawlor.
