Munster kept themselves on track to reach the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup with a hard earned 30-18 victory over a fired-up Newport Gwent Dragons at Thomond Park.

Munster gave their supporters some anxious moments after a Kevin Morgan try converted by Ceri Sweeney saw the visitors take a 18-17 lead with ten minutes remaining

However, two Ronan O’Gara penalties steadied the ship and his conversion of Jerry Flannery’s 80th minute try gave Munster the points.
