Munster Rugby Supporters Club present cheque to Cardiac Rehabilitation Dept. of the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital
The Munster Rugby Supporters Club were delighted to present the Cardiac Rehabilitation Dept. of the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, with a cheque for 1,000, during our Pre-Match Charity Lunch prior to the Newport Gwent Dragons HEC game.
SIVUH were delighted to be our Pre-Match Lunch designated charity and thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon as our guests.
Pictured is, Munster Rugby Supporters Club member (and Minister for State at Dept. of Health & Children), Tim O Malley presenting the cheque to Breda Kenny and Valerie Collender (Cardiac Rehabilitation Co-ordinator, SIVUH, with Tony McGrath (MRSC Committee) looking on.
Answering the questions on the day were ex-Munster player Jason Holland and Tom Kiernan, formerly Munster coach, and coach of Munster in 1978. Alan English, author of Stand Up and Fight, acted as MC for the lunch.
The Supporters Club Committee would like to thank all 3 of our guests on the day, who all gave their services for a very deserving charity. We would also like to thank the 120 Munster Rugby Supporters Club members for their attendance and support of the charity.
Everyone agreed it was an unqualified success with many insightful looks into Munster and Irish Rugby.
