After picking up a shoulder injury against France last weekend, Paul O’Connell is considered doubtful for Ireland’s meeting with Wales on Saturday week .O’Connell strained his shoulder A/C joint and after a week of rehabilitation the situation will be assessed.
Should O’Connell not be deemed fit to face the Welsh his Munster colleague Mick O’Driscoll must surely be in line for a senior international recall. O’Driscoll has been outstanding for Munster all year and led the Ireland A side last weekend in France.
Meanwhile Munster will play their last home game before the Heineken Cup quarter final when they take on Glasgow in Thomond Park on Saturday.
