Regional Skills Day
3rd March 2006 By Munster Rugby
During the mid terms, some of the best U15 and U16 schools players in the province took part in a Regional Skills Day.
During the February mid-term, secondary schools in the province nominated their 7 best players if they were an A School or their two best players if they are a B School to attend a regional skills day at U15 & U16 level.
The day was facilitated in the Colaiste Stiofain Naofa in Cork and Garryowen FC in Limerick. The sessions involved a nutrition presentation, skills work and introduction to a training programme.
The objective of the day was to further educate players on the benefits of a structured training and nutritional programme to empower younger players to reach their full athletic potential.
