Canterbury Super 10’s Tournament on Wednesday

The very first Canterbury Super 10’s rugby competition, open to Bowen Shield School’s players takes place this Wednesday, with six teams competing at both Musgrave Park and Thomond Park

The inaugural Canterbury Super 10 s competition will take place this coming Wednesday in at Musgrave Park and Thomond Park. This ten a side tournament is a pilot programme which has been sponsored by Canterbury, and has been introduced to help develop and improve the individual skills and backline play of schools players in Munster. The tournament is open to Bowen Shield Players, and six teams will compete at each of the two venues, giving young school s players to showcase their talents outside of the regular school competitions. The games will be twenty minutes in duration- ten minutes each way. The action kicks off at midday at both venues.
The tournament has the full support of the Munster Branch: Garrett Fitzgerald, CEO, the Senior Management Committee and Declan Kidney, Provincial Director of Coaching.
