Munster Complete Preparations In Musgrave Park

Munster completed their preparations for the Heineken Cup quarter final clash with a training session in the wind and rain at Musgrave Park this (Thursday) morning.

Munster completed their preparations for the Heineken Cup quarter final clash with a training session in the wind and rain at Musgrave Park this (Thursday) morning. The squad will assemble tomorrow morning for their train journey to Dublin’s Heuston station from where they will transfer by coach to the Radisson Hotel.

Denis Leamy who has been recovering from the ankle injury sustained against England in the final Six Nations game, took a full part in training which augers well for his inclusion in the match day squad, according to coach Declan Kidney.

I was very happy with the application shown by the players in difficult conditions. Denis came through fine and we will wait until we see how they all recover before finalising the 22 for the game on Saturday.”

“Conditions were difficult but according to the weather forecast we could have more of the same on Saturday so training in similar conditions may be a help.”

Munster will announce their starting line-up at 12 noon tomorrow.
