Munster back John Kelly has been forced to withdraw from the Ireland Rugby squad for the summer tour to New Zealand and Australia because of the shoulder injury he picked up in the game against Cardiff
Kelly remained with the Ireland squad who has assembled this week in Limerick, to have his injury assesed and treated during the pre tour training camp.
The shoulder has not recovered sufficiently and Kelly’s place in the touring party has been taken by his Munster team mate Anthony Horgan.
