Ireland’s team to play Scotland this weekend is announced, along with details of Open Training Sessions for the Munster U21 team

IRELAND S team to play Scotland this weekend, in their last test game before the World Cup in September, shows four changes from the side that beat Canada in April.

Munster flyer Jeannette Feighery (UL Bohemian) has forced her way into the starting line-up with a spot on the wing. Feighery came off the bench in Ireland s game against Canada for her first cap, but was injured within minutes of coming on and has been given a second chance before Ireland head to Edmonton at the end of the month.

Joanne O Sullivan, who hugely impressed in this year s Six Nations competition, reverts to fullback, while there is a positional switch in the centre with Boyne s Grace Davitt earning a start at 12, instead of her usual wing berth.

With experienced centre Patrique Kelly having been ruled out of the World Cup with a shoulder injury, Davitt could make the spot her own if she fronts up well this weekend.

Up front, Highfield s Marie Barrett returns at prop while Clonakilty flanker Eimear O Sullivan gets a rare start at number six in the place of Orla Brennan.

The game will be Ireland s last outing before they head to the World Cup in Canada on August 27. Ireland face games against France, America and South Africa in their opening pool games.
