Munster came from behind at a wet and windy Musgrave Park to defeat Ulster 15-7 in the A Interprovincial this (Wednesday) afternoon.

Brendan Cuttriss gave Munster the lead with a try from a rolling maul in the 57th minute but the lead was short-lived as Andy Maxwell touched down and Adam Larkin added the points to edge the visitors 7-5 in front.

Out-half Eoghan Hickey restored Munster’s advantage with a penalty and he added the extras to a late Timmy Ryan try that sealed victory for the home side.

Meanwhile, Ulster Coach Mark McCall has named a squad of 24 players ahead of this Saturday’s match against Munster at Musgrave Park. The squad is made up of the same 22 players involved in last Friday’s defeat of the Ospreys at Ravenhill as well as both Andrew Trimble and Neil Best who have finished their international pre-season conditioning programme and are available for Ulster selection. McCall will name his team on Friday.

Bryn Cunningham; Mark Bartholomeusz; Tommy Bowe; Paul Steinmetz; Paddy Wallace; Andrew Trimble; Andrew Maxwell; Kevin Maggs; David Humphreys; Isaac Boss; Kieran Campbell

Justin Fitzpatrick; Bryan Young; Declan Fitzpatrick; Rory Best; Paul Shields; Justin Harrison, Matt McCullough, Tim Barker; Stephen Ferris, Neil Best; Kieron Dawson, Neil McMillan, Roger Wilson
