Rib Injury Makes O’Driscoll Doubtful
19th March 2007 By Munster Rugby
Although initial medical examination has shown no sign of fracture the rib injury lock Mick O’Driscoll sustained in the game against Italy looks likely to rule him out of Munster’s trip to Stradey Park.
In the event that O’Driscoll is ruled out Munster will look to either former Scarlet Chris Wyatt or 23 year old Donnacha Ryan as partner to Donncha O’Callaghan for the Magners League clash with Ulster in Ravenhill on Friday and the Heineken Cup quarter final the following week in Wales.
Meanwhile, newest signing Brian Carney arrived in Cork yesterday and he met up with his new teammates at training this morning.
